I’ve talked a few times about my experiences with dog walking as a means of income, and have heavily recommended it to friends and family as a means of extra income. It’s not only a fun job, but also a great way to get in some extra steps on your fitbit! 😉
Each week, I am documenting how much I’ve made from dog walking through Rover, along with how many hours I worked, to arrive at an hourly rate. This week, I had the pleasure of working with six beautiful pups, as well as pet sitting for a bunny.
Money earned: $349.40
Number of walks/visits: 19
Hours worked (each visit + travel time averages about 40 minutes): 12.67
Hourly rate: $27.57
Not too shabby for playing with puppies! Plus look above at all the adorable faces I saw last week!
If you want to your own dog walking side hustle to earn an extra $27.57 an hour, you can sign up with Rover here to start finding clients in your area. 🙂
Alternatively, if you need a dog walker or pet sitter, you can go through my profile here and use the code FIRSTWALK2020 to get $20 off your first booking. Don’t worry, even if you don’t book with me you still get the $20 off!
